Sustainability, Waste, Plastic, and TigerHart® Plush Stuffed Animals

At TigerHart®, We Care About Reducing Waste and the Environment

When creating our plush toys, we make it a priority to choose high-quality materials that are also kind to the environment. That’s why we use recycled materials for the filling of our cuddly friends.

The process begins with a specialized factory that collects used plastic bottles. These bottles are carefully washed and sanitized, and then broken down into small pieces. Next, the pieces are melted and transformed into plastic polymer.

The melted polymer is extruded and stretched into long, spaghetti-like fibers. These fibers can be used for many purposes, including as the soft filling inside our plush toys, and even as part of the fabric on the outside.

By giving plastic bottles a second purpose, we’re helping reduce waste and building a cleaner environment.
